Not accurate, but amusing nonetheless. Probably about as close as this test will get.

Your Score: The Taoist

You scored 30 Materialism and 70 Phenomenology!

The Way is flux. The Way is order. The Way is Chaos. And if you do it right, the Way is you.

You have a good balance of the material and phenomenological realms in your personal experiences, and see reality as a holistic set of interlocking systems, constantly changing, constantly supporting or resting on one another. The Tao (and the Buddhist sect it inspired, Zen) isn't about getting on with it, it's about realizing there's no it to get on with.

Thinkers you may agree with: Lao-tzu (duh)
Thinkers that may challenge you: One is all.

What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Literature Nerd

Does sitting by a nice cozy fire, with a cup of hot tea/chocolate, and a book you can read for hours even when your eyes grow red and dry and you look sort of scary sitting there with your insomniac appearance? Then you fit this category perfectly! You love the power of the written word and it's eloquence; and you may like to read/write poetry or novels. You contribute to the smart people of today's society, however you can probably be overly-critical of works.

It's okay. I understand.

You Are 16% Girly

Um... you're a guy, right? If not, you're the most boyish girl in the world.
And for you, that's probably the ultimate compliment.

Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Completely unexpected. And probably inaccurate.

Blame [livejournal.com profile] drunkenphlower.

1. Total number of books I've owned: Currently, my bookshelf, which is about a foot deep, and six feet tall, is overflowing. And there's books piled elsewhere, and in the crates. It's possibly the biggest money sink I have. That said, I've probably got somewhere around 1000 books in my bedroom alone. I'm looking forwards to someday having enough room for all of them.

2. Last book I bought: I haven't bought a book in a while, but the last one I can remember was Tori Amos's Piece by Piece. She has interesting ideas about divinity. I don't completely agree with them, but they're interesting.

3. Last book I read: My tastes have been running to schlocky fantasy lately, so I rereard Mercedes Lackey's Magic's Price the other day.

4. Five books that mean a lot to me: Ayn Rand Atlas Shrugged, Pat Conroy The Lords of Discipline, Robert Heinlein's The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, Jack Vance's Lyonesse, and Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. The latter is the only book out of the lot that I don't own, unfortunately. The first three books are a matter of philosophy and sociological interest, and the Jack Vance because it had the largest effect on my writing.

5. Tag 5 people and have them fill this out in their LJs.
